Reading task

In reading, we have been reading a book called Wildlife of Aotearoa - Gavin bishop Nature, and I chose to do the deep sea wildlife the animals you don't usually see or maybe even know about and that's why we made these slides.
I like the viperfish because it's really cool and I like it's jaw because it can go really far.

Challenges Brando Yelavich faced in his journey

Describing the challenges Brando Yelavich faced in his journey.

Brando lived in suburban Auckland, in a normal teenage life but he always felt
depressed and stressed out a lot, he remembered fighting with his parents
a lot. (like a normal teenager) and his school was a really bad fit for his ADHD
and dyslexia, it took him a long time to learn things and he is better in
practical situations than in a boring math class, after he left the school he just
ended up lying on the floor doing nothing and he was in a really bad and
negative cycle

How I resolved challenges that I faced in my life.

How I resolved the challenges that I faced in my life.

I have had quite a lot of challenges in my life but the big one I think I faced
was depression yes depression although I might still have it, I have overcome it.
and I learned to not let it take control because having depression doesn't
make you less worthy, the only way to make you unworthy is by doing bad stuff
like really bad stuff, you have to make yourself worthy for yourself to become
strong you might have gone through tough times but that’s just a step closer to
make you more worthy, because you need tough and hard times for yourself to
become stronger.

Important skills and strategies on living in the outdoors

Important skills and strategies on living in the outdoors

You will always need skills to an activity, but for outdoors that is a different story
you have to learn how to kill and hunt and also what is good to eat or not that
is why not many people go outdoors some are scared of the bear’s and
animals
But it is very important to learn survival skills.
1 – Finding and Purifying Water.
2 – Building A Wilderness Survival Shelter From Scratch.
3 – Starting A Fire Without A Lighter.
4 – Navigating Your Way Back To Safety.
5 – Survival Signaling To Help Rescuers Find You.
6 – Learn Your Basic Survival Medical Skills.

And never try to act boldly if you see a dangerous animal like a snake don’t try to go and catch it
because you don’t know how venomous the snake is so just back away.

The Importance of friendship

The Importance of friendship

It’s always good to have friends so that you can trust and care for and by caring
for that person, they will care for you when you need it too, say you're in a bad
situation and you need help and you can’t call your parents nor your sibling/s
so you go to your friend and by you showing them that you care and trust and
will always help that friend, that friend is going to help you when you're in
situations. You would do the same for that friend, it’s not called “I owe you”
it’s “since you helped me I will help you as well”  because for friendship you
don’t “owe” you show that person you are there for them and will help them.
