Singing

Every day on Wednesday we would have a day were we got to choose a passion so the options were
-CIP
-Singing
-Dancing
-Rugby
-Ambassadors
 I chose Singing and Dancing, On period three The people who chose singing go to My homeroom and on period four is dancing but this blog post isn't about dancing. In singing, there are a bunch of option's of songs after about a few minutes of choosing songs we got to do "You are the reason" by Callum Scott I could tell everyone was kinda nervous but after getting the hang of it every one surprised me because I thought they were going to be nervous again but then they sounded so angelic It was crazy, after a few more days in singing we became more confident so we suggested singing lovely by Billie Eilish, After about two practices we decided we would perform it, we hope it works out well,

We have three terms of singing The last term we will be performing in Horncastle arena, I've been there about two times so it wasn't new to me I knew all the rules and how the night and practise would go but every time at practise it 's always different from the last which I think is very cool so when we perform it's not the same as the last time. I enjoyed the practices not because we got out of school it was because I'm very passionate about singing and just to be there was very enjoyable for me, but it would be a stress because the practice is the same day as the performance and the practice goes from 8:00 to 2:00 so we are there for a while but it was worth it.

Sentence

Today we had to write out a sentence including Verbs, Nouns, Ect but we also had to make them make sense. so we couldn't just say bob went to go to the store for a banana and leave it there we had to add onto our sentences.

Hurumanu

What did you do on Tuesday?:

For Hurumanu on Tuesday we played a game called Multiball so basically it's just a game where you combine games that involve balls for instants Basketball Football,Netball etc

Within your sport group what worked well?:

At first it was really rough because people were not listening to the leaders and that made them angry and about after a while everyone calmed down and we started working together and we let every one have a chance to voice their idea 

What do you need to change for next time?:

I could change maybe lowering my voice so don't make other people think I'm angry when I'm not and not try tell every one to shut up when they are talking over someone 

What are you looking forward to when you present:

I'm just hoping the other team will like our idea's and have fun and not complain 

I can identify how music and sound sets a mood in a movie

In the movie Star Trek, The music is upbeat and triumphant, and it just's gets you existed.

In the movie jaws, The music starts loud and slow ,then it gets faster then tense or something scary might be coming.

In the movie Harry potter the Hedwig song (main theme song) is very exciting  and thrilling, and you feel like some thing cool is about to go down or happen.

In Spiderman we all know his song (or not) but the way it is sang it just gets you in a happy mood, and you end up singing the song even though it's just the soundtrack.

In Batman we also know his song (or not) once you hear it you will fall into singing the song, even if it is the soundtrack even just the special sound effects.

Camera Angles

Long shots

Excellent for telling stories, long shots allow us to see not only our subject but also their environment. Depending on how a long shot is set, we may find a person surrounded by their work ect.

The dutch angle                                                                                                                                                                                  Becoming increasingly criticised for its modern overuse in still photography, Dutch angles can help to tell us something about the film or its subject, it's not entirely right. Typically used to depict the world on its side, Dutch angles can be artfully utilised to tell us that something is wrong or the actor realised something.

High angle                                                                                                                                                                                       Looking at the exact opposite situation, the high angle can be used to make a subject appear small or vulnerable. Commonly known as the ‘bird’s-eye view’, shots like these may be used to signal that a subject is in danger or has lost dominance in their environment. Add a dutch angle and something bad is almost certainly about to happen.                                                                                                                                                       Extreme Close up                                                                                                                                                                              The most intimate of all shots, the extreme close-up, goes beyond the standard close-up by focusing on a single feature or object. We may see a drop of sweat drip down a actor or check or the fear in a pair of eyes.

Community Impact project

What is the project?:
For community impact project we are going to focus on helping the community by picking up rubbish people left behind. and encouraging people to clean up their rubbish and anyone else's.

What is the purpose?: 
To help the community by cleaning up everywhere, and getting people to join in on the fun by keeping the community beautiful and clean.

How much rubbish do you think we are going to collect and why do you think that?:
I think about 5 kl's or more but I think we could fill about 7, 5 kl bags,

What colours do you think you'll see the most
I think I'll see the most of transparent because bottles are the most that get littered.


What type of art would you like to create
I would like to make something for my school like a little statue.

Tuesday 26th Reflection-Playback

What Game did I find challenging and why: I think long ball was very difficult because you have to try to kick it as hard as you can to distract the opposite team so I could run to the end and try not to get hit


One of the goals was to listen what skills do you need to be a good listener: To make sure i'm only listening to the teacher and not the person next to me



What communication skills did I need when playing long ball: I need to call out if I can get the ball and help my team when and by listening for my name to be called so I could throw the ball to my teammate/s


What skill do I need to work on for my next lesson?: To help my teammates and not just move out of the way if the ball is coming towards me 


What is a personal goal I wanted to work on today:
Be confident in the game and not let people go in front of me and just be confident
