Wonder Film Study purpose of Camera Angles, movements and shots.

This shot was used to make the viewers feel sad for Auggie and all the rough times he's going through, this also shows how Auggie's feeling, he's feeling down, lonely and sad, because there are other students passing by him not even recognizing him or waving or smiling at him, which makes him upset and now he is feeling left out and unrecognized.

This scene/shot is of Auggie and Summer sitting together at lunch,

This scene is important in the film because this is where Auggie starts gaining friends and building friendships and trust. Meanwhile in the background there are
the rest of the students are looking and wondering why Summer is
sitting by Auggie, this shot explains the quote
"When given the choice to be right or kind. Choose Kind.",  Summer has seen Auggie struggling for the past few weeks in school, during breaks, he would normally be sitting by himself, therefore Summer has made the choice by going and sitting with Auggie and getting to know him, this is a good lesson for us as well don't judge a person because of their looks because if you really take the time and go and talk with that person you might find some interesting
stuff about them, and there might be something in common between you and the person. At this point, Auggie probably is feeling a mixture of sad, confused and happy, because he didn't want to experience the same problem that he had with Jack. Therefore Summer was a true friend for Auggie and not a fake one.

What am I learning?
I am learning how to respond to a visual text,
by showing my understanding of the purpose of the techniques in these
camera shots, and being able to describe it.
